AYLIN - Crème Anglaise's Entourage On Tour won Open bitch and took another Reserve CC
but star of the day was our
FABIENNE - Emandoria Fabienne She not only won her Puppy class but went on to Puppy BOB (out of a total entry of 33 puppies) She then also went on to
dazzle everyone in the mainring winning Hound Puppy Group #1 and even Reserve Puppy Best In Show !!!

SHOUF DOES BELGIUM IN GREAT STYLE
So proud of our Beautiful Blond Boy SHOUF (CA Shouf Shouf Habibi)
At the 2nd show on Saturday judged by Mrs. Suzanne Pattyn from Belgium Shouf needed to clinch his crowning CAC from Champion Class. With the new rules, only recently introduced it had become necessary to get at least 1 CAC at the Brussels venue…
Not only did he manage to win his class and with that result securing his Belgian Championship Title
but he also did it in great style ending up as the BOB out of 34 whippets entered !!!

DUTCH WINNER WEEKEND 2025 LEEUWARDEN
It certainly was an eventful weekend of showing in The Netherlands starting with The Fryslân Cup on Friday, followed by the Tulip Cup on Saturday and the Dutch Winner Show on Sunday as Grand Finale…
A large part of our UK Entourage & Family had come over for the event and it was great to see Trudy, Mel and Di brought the one and only Viking (Crufts Winner 2024) out with them after a long period of retirement
We did have a lot of laughs had spread out over the three days we had many fab results to celebrate…
FRYSLAN CUP – breed Judge: Dr. Peter Friedrich (GER), 38 whippets. What can I say it was a fabulous start of the weekend, nearly won all the classes we entered and ended up with both CAC’s and a reserve Best Bitch.

TULIP CUP – breed Judge: Mrs. Saija Juutilainen (FIN), 28 whippets. The 2nd day of showing was almost as successful winning all our classes we were entered, although our Finish breed judge did make a bold decision choosing her Best Bitch. The day before she had awarded Jill Res BIS. She took her time and moved Jill and Aylin frequently around. I am sure not many judges would have dared to do it but compliments she had the guts to do it anyway… And our feeling is that she got it right, proving that as a judge you always have to judge the dogs brought under you on the day regardless of results in the past.

It was going to be a loooooong long day at the office but today at Midland Whippet Club the main objective was to pass for my hands on exam…. (Drum roll)….) And I did !!!! (a cheeky “Yeay” for me
) No honestly I am quite chuffed to pass this exam and thankful to the organizers and assessors for making it possible… Whilst at the office why not bring a couple of dogs to the show that was there anyway….
TEAM CRèME ANGLAISE / SILKRIDGE brought 9 in total to add to an incredible high total entry of 120 Males and 155 Bitches. Compliments to the show organisation!!!

27 - 28 september 2025 MAASTRICHT 2025 2 x CACIB SHOW Day 1 in
Maastricht…. We had a new judge from Sweden we had never shown under before
today. So it is always extra exciting to see what will happen on the day. We
brought 4 dogs with us 3 to show and our little Polish girl Fabienne (Emandoria
Fabienne) was tagging along for fun and a first show-training weekend. First
up was our Polish boy Lev (Emandoria Dazzling Diplomat for Crème Anglaise) he
was with 3 in Open Dog. Lev got Ex-1, CAC, CACIB, Best Male, Holland Cup Winner
and Crufts Qualification. He ended up as BOS (Lev and Fabienne are bred by Kamil
Koziol) Next up was Aylin (CA Entourage On Tour) There were 5 in Junior
Bitch. Aylin got EX-1 in Junior Bitch finishing her Dutch Junior Title in style.
She also took the Junior CAC, the CAC, the Junior Holland Cup Winner Title and
the Holland Cup Winner Title, Crufts Qualification, Best Bitch and BOB Last
but not least Ash (CA Thistle Be Perfect) was in Champion class of 3. She got
EX-1 Aylin was later on awarded the Junior Group and finished Junior BIS #3

Day 2 in Maastricht… Slept in
a lovely hotel with an artificial ski-slope not too far from the venue and in
the morning we headed back to the show for the second CACIB show. Today we had a
well known and highly respected judge from Portugal. First up was our Polish
boy Lev (Emandoria Dazzling Diplomat for Crème Anglaise) he was again with 3 in
Open Dog. Lev got Ex-1, CAC, CACIB, Best Male and he ended up as BOS again
Next up was Aylin (CA Entourage On Tour) There were 5 in Junior Bitch today
Aylin got EX-1 in Junior Bitch and she also took the Junior CAC, the CAC, Best
Bitch and BOB Last but not least Ash (CA Thistle Be Perfect) was again in a
Champion class of 3. She got EX-1 and was also awarded Reserve Best Bitch, the
Reserve CAC and the full CACIB. Whippets were one of the last breeds judged
so we had to rush Aylin to the main ring, where she also took GROUP #1 Breed

was a wonderful showweekend. Maastricht as always a great atmosphere and well
run show. A big thank you to the committee, all the judges and all the

28 august 2025 LITTLE MISS BLISS TAKES BEST PUPPY IN SHOW AT RICHMOND
BLISS Silkridge Mistletoe Smooch She's a lean mean whippetmachine!!
Sometimes you find yourself in a situation, a bit of a pickle if you want... Cause after Colette won BPIB under breed judge Ken Andrew she went on to win the Hound Puppy Group at Richmond yesterday. That was quite unexpected and so she called us and said "Houston we have a problem...." Collette's grand daughter Harper was celebrating her long planned 3rd birthday party and Colette was not going to miss it for the world... So we needed to come up with a plan and find Bliss a decent handler....Well, .... we said, if you want the best we'd better call our sister Melanie Raymond and so we did... Took Mel only a second to say yes and so Bliss was dropped off at the Dialynne's for the night. The next day Mel and Dianna took Bliss back to Richmond Champ Show...
And what a performance they gave ... It was amazing to see such a pro handler like Mel stack and move out Bliss in a perfect style. And also so happy to see Bliss was completely confident with Mel Puppy BIS judge John Ritchie was not at all flustered by seeing a new handler on Bliss and rewarded their superb performance with a Puppy Best In Show!!!
We are incredibly proud and grateful to Mel and Di and also to the back-up handler we had in place as well (you know who you are...) Bliss is co-owned by her breeder Colette Perkins & myself (Kris van der Schaaf)

A year without PUPPIES, due to bad planning on our part and one unfortunate miss... Finally the PUPPIES are back at Crème Anglaise's!!! and why have only one litter if you can have two???
Crème Anglaise's Lady Whistledown (Penelope/Pietje)
was the first to whelp her 2 fawn boys and 5 fawn and white girls from father Shouf.
Crème Anglaise's Irish Cream (Jill) was not far behind when she gave birth to her 5 beautiful brindle boys from father Cheeky.
Both mums had a super easy whelping and are thoroughly enjoying their kids.

CRAZY LIFE OF A BREEDER /EXHIBITOR It was rather a frantic couple of
days but fortunately I was in great company and the results made it all
worthwhile !! Wednesday 6.00hrs, left home destination WKC. Arrival in
Builth Wells at 19.00hrs.

1st res CC (co-owned with Rikie Vbeersum). TALLY CA Entourage with
Silkridge, 1st in YB. LIA Silkridge Black Dahlia, 3rd in MLB. ASH CA
Thistle Be Perfect, 2nd in OB. JAMIE Silkridge Jingle My Bells, 1st in
MPD (owned by Jan Doherty). CHEEKY CA Cheeky Entourage, 4th in LD.
Bliss beat her brother Jamie for BPIB and had a great run in the Puppy Group
taking 2nd spot.

CAC/CAC/CACIB and the BOB. In the group she was absolutely flying and she
took Group #1 Breed and Group judge was Ilona Aleknavičienė from
Lithuania
who we thank for thinking so highly of our dogs!!
Show finished at 16.30 hrs, directly off to work for a nightshift...
Sunday morning finish work at noon and than straight back to the Rotterdam
dogshow to show Aylin in the BIS line-up... LOVE IT!!!

AYLIN HAS TAKEN TOP SPOT IN ROTTERDAM!!! In 2024 the Rotterdam Best In
Show was Crème Anglaise’s Irish Cream (JILL) In 2025 Jill’s successor is
another whippet named AYLIN *** CRÈME ANGLAISE’S ENTOURAGE ON TOUR ***
She was the youngest in the BIS line-up and amidst many champions she stood
her ground and was awarded BEST IN SHOW by judge Dagmar Klein from Romania.
Huge thanks to both our judges this weekend Ilona Aleknaviciene (Breed &
Group) and Dagmar Klein (BIS) AYLIN is co-owned by Crème Anglaise and
Rikie van Beersum We would certainly like to thank the Rotterdam Show
organisation and all its volunteers for putting up such a well run and
pleasant show. It was a magical end to hectic but wonderful week of

14 july 2025 Brabant Pedigree Dog Festival CAC Show (KV Waalwijk) This Saturday we took 3 of our younsters to show. The venue was lovely, just a bit of a long walk to/from the Car Park... However let's not complain as the weather was lovely, the company too and the
results were excellent!!
LEV Emandoria Dazzling Diplomat for Crème Anglaise was first up and needed one more point to secure his Dutch Junior Title. And he did it in style as he was also Best Male with CAC and BOS!!! Lev is bred by Kamil Kozioł and Kacper Buła. LEV is already on 5 Dutch CAC's but needs to wait untill he is old enough (27 months) to finish his Dutch Championship. Next up was little Sooky (CA , fresh out of puppy at just 9 months, she was a bit playful in the ring but managed to clinsh an Ex-2 out of 4 juniors. You'll get there Sook!! Star of the day was our Black Star named LIA Silkridge Black Dahlia, she has developed so well and OMG when she moves, ... she moves!!
LIA is bred by and co-owned with Roger Perkins & Colette Silkridge Judge today was Annelies van Beersum

SHOUF WINS GROUP 10 IN HOOGEVEEN Driving back home from the Boston Champ Show in the UK where Ash (CA Thistle Be Perfect) won her 7th CC and a fab Group#2. I just got the news that Ash her halfbrother shouf (CA Shouf Shouf Habibi) has won BOB and Group #1 at the CAC Show in Hoogeveen. Super proud of Shouf Leboof and indeed of his handler and co-owner Priscilla van Oosten. Loved the critique you got from Breed and Group Judge Erica Bakker - van de Woestijne.

CC NUMBER 50 IN BOSTON FOR CRÈME ANGLAISE'S (in whippets) It was an amazing day at the Boston & District Championship Show.
All our dogs were placed at the high end in their respective classes but the icing on the cake today was for our ASH when she took her 7th CC awarded by Breed Specialist judge Jo Whitehead (Citycroft) who also awarded her Best Of Breed.
Later on the day Ash absolutely flew in the mainring and made Group judge Dr. Ronald W. James (Jasmorne) smile. He awarded her performance with a fabulous Group #2.
Ash her 7th CC also meant that we reached a momentous milestone in the UK as it also was the 5oth CC for Crème Anglaise owned and/or bred whippets:

7 june 2025 TALLY IS CA UK CHAMPION NUMBER SEVEN !!! (in whippets) What a super weekend it was again at Three Counties and we weren't even there.....
Our partners in crime Roger & Colette were there to do the bidding and OMG did they deliver the goods...
After Piloting Jules (CA Just Julian with Silkridge) to his 13th DCC Colette took in Tally (CA Entourage with Silkridge) and was awarded the Res. Bitch CC. at the tender age of just about 14 months Tally has become the 7th home bred Crème Anglaise UK Champion and our very first under the new system. Her 5th reserve CC added to the 2 full CC's rightfully gives her a beautiful crown!!! We thank all 7 judges who awarded this girl top honours, including todays judge Mary Pascoe to seal the deal.
We are just so proud of Tally the pocket rocket and her entire entourage. And the day just kept on giving when Jules also took the BOB and later in the group he made it to the final cut of the group judge Rachel Wray. A very big cherry on the cake was the news that Emly Blake had taken 1st place in the Eukanuba Puppy Stakes under judge Kevin Young with her Roxy (CA Too Hot To Handle). Another fab result

Breed judge Jasper van Ulsen had an entry of 50 whippets. We have decided that this is a perfect moment to call Jill's retirement from the showring.
For 5,5 years she has given us her all and we are incredibly happy with and proud of her and all her great achievements.
We hope to spoil her at home for many years to come for now it is... time for the next generations...
Needless to say we are over the moon and very proud of all our boys and girls!!! Despite the rainy weather it was a lovely and well run show so therefore a big thank you to all the volunteers!!!

Sorry for this long post peeps, but lots to brag about….
WHAT THE HELL JUST HAPPENED?
It doesn’t happen very often that we are lost for words but this show weekend certainly qualifies. We needed a few glasses of wine and a good nights sleep to process Sundays events in Scotland….
At the double General Champ Shows in Edinburgh something special and incredible happened… when 3 of the 4 CC’s were awarded to 3 different Crème Anglaise’s and all 3 CC winners were children of our Dusty (CA Eat My Dust) and from 3 consecutive litters. These wins put us at a grand total of 47 CC’s in Whippets…..
All Crème Anglaise/Silkridge dogs shown were placed in their respective classes in both shows, including 10 x 1st in class and 4 x 2nd in class!!!

Huge congrats ladies, we are incredibly proud of Maple’s UK Championship. Maple is our 6th homebred at Crème Anglaise UK Champion. A massive congrats as well to our partners in crime Roger & Colette Perkins, yesterdays results are just what dreams are made off and we are so happy to do this together with you guys!!!
In the meantime across the pond, at CACIB Show Oss in The Netherlands another Crème Anglaise also had a super day…. SHOUF !!
After gaining many Championships all over Europe he finally reached the required age of 27 months. Crème Anglaise’s Shouf Shouf Habibi (Arab for: Look Look My Love!!!) was able to finish his Dutch Title in style with a Best of Breed and later on an excellent group #2 as a cherry on top.
Shouf is co-owned with, loved, trained, cared for and handled by Family van Oosten. Feeling very proud of this super sweet blond boy an his two fabulous redhead handlers. Huge congrats girls on your 2nd Dutch Champion in Whippets.

1 march 2025 2025 CACIB show Groningen
Well well well, it was definitely a day to remember for our two younsters at the CACIB show in Groningen.

For both Lev and Aylin it was only the 2nd show and they both performed absolutely brilliantly. They were both in Junior class, the 2 largest classes of the day and won it...
Lev also took the CAC and Best Male, and Aylin did the same, so CAC and Best Bitch. She then notched ahead of Lev for the BOB!!!
Our esteemed judge was Darko Drobnjak from Serbia and he had an entry of 32 whippets.
In the group Aylin flew around the mainring and was awarded group #3 by judge Michael Leonard from Ireland.
Aylin is only 10 months old and co-owned with and loved by Rikie van Beersum-Peeters

So, it's official.... the latest *** OUR DOGS *** confirms !!! Dusty ( CA Eat My Dust) is now Top Brood Bitch 2024 in the UK.
It's rare for a puppy to crawl under your skin at birth but this is exactly what she did 9 years ago. Her mom Pippi was seriously ill from leishmania. We discovered this when she was 7 weeks pregnant... Pippie had her pups and was a fabulous mother before the illness got the better of her. Her daughter Dusty was the one we kept and she was just incredible. As a pup she always brought smiles on our faces as she really was a funny character. Losing her mom at such a young age made her all the more special to us...
As she grew older and we started to show her she immediately made everybody fall in love with her and she was a Dutch Champion in no time. Her UK crown soon followed and she was the very first homebred UK Champion for Crème Anglaise.
In 2019 she reached her showpeak and that year she finnished TOP DOG OF ALL BREEDS in Holland.
Her first litter was a little bit of a let down, pups were of mediocre quality. We were quite gutted and thought she would not be able to produce the quality she herself posessed.
The year after we were supposed to use a dog in France but as she came in season we saw a video of a group of a UK show and instantly fell in love with Silkridge Just Joey. We cancelled the appointment in France and followed our gut feeling about Joey.
In this, spur of the moment litter, we were spoilt for choice and it produced 2 UK champs in Ash and Jules.
Her next litter was a logic choice with Joey's dad Citycroft High Society and it worked, producing another great litter with Maple, Julia and Penelope.
For her last litter we decided to do a repeat mating with Joey to see if they would do it again for us. And they did another fab litter giving us Cheeky, Senna, Aylin and the gorgeous Tally in the entourage litter. These yougsters will fly our flag in the upcomming season(s).
Needless to say that we are incredibly super proud of our Dusty who has given us nothing short of her all.
Dusty is now 9 years old and continues to make us smile every day!! XXX

TIME TO CELEBRATE !!!
Getting top breeder in the UK was reason enough to throw a small party to celebrate!!! So we invited all of our Dutch Entourage for a nice beachwalk with Lunch on the Beach.
Yesterday, just in time for the party, we received confirmation as well that our Dusty (Crème Anglaise's Eat My Dust) is the confirmed UK Top Brood Bitch of 2024. So proud of our blond little girl!!! We had a great time this afternoon and on top of it we were spoiled rotten with so many lovely gifts.
We will thorougly enjoy our Weekend in Maastricht, including Wine tasting & Dinner!!!

IT'S CONFIRMED !!! CRÈME ANGLAISE'S is
TOP WHIPPET BREEDER of the UK in
To our knowkedge it is the first time ever that a non-UK based kennel has
achieved this position!!! (*Please correct us if this is not correct). We never
dreamt it would ever be possible so we are over the moon and super proud of all
the boys and girls we bred and gaining all those CC's to get here. We got our points by showing our
JILL and our
ASH in 2024 but we could not have done it alone of course, we had a lot of help. A huge part of this succes we gladly share with Colette & Roger Perkins of the
Silkridge kennel for showing a number of CA's to great hight, especially
JULES. Also Rachel and Jo of Citycroft attibuted greatly with the lovely
MAPLE.
Many many thanks to all the judges who thought so highly of
our boys and girls. And to all of our entourage both at the shows as well as at
home for all the fun, the support and the taking care of the
stay-at-home-team-members.
We will be celebrating this momentous and
unique occasion for us with a benchparty at Crufts !! Feel free to look us up on
the thursday and join us for a drink and a nibble!! We are very much
looking forward to 2025, especially with the next generation of Crème Anglaise !!
and the best thing is that she felt right at home in the mainring, she loved all the attention!!!!
