SKC double champ shows in Scotland
TEAM CA / SILKRIDGE GOES DOUBLE DUTCH IN SCOTLAND
My oh My, it was a right sister act in Scotland at the 2 SKC Shows.
It is
always a bit hectic when two shows are running simultaneous and next to each
other but in the end we managed it.
On the SKC General Champ Show we had
Fiona Finch judging dogs and Liz Millward judging bitches.
Where to
start… at the beginning I suppose…
Bitches were judged first at this show
Judge Millward presiding.
We started off with a 2nd place for Bliss (Silkridge Mistletoe Smooch) in
Junior Bitch.
Next up was Lia (Silkridge Black Dahlia), who got a 3rd place in Mid Limit
Bitch.
In between Emily had marvellously won Post Graduate Bitch with Roxy (Crème
Anglaise’s Too Hot To Handle for Mazargo).
Open bitch was the cracker and in a strong competition Tally (Crème
Anglaise’s Entourage with Silkridge) took the win and 2nd was her litter
sister Aylin (Crème Anglaise’s Entourage on Tour).
In the challenge Tally
and Colette also took the CC and Aylin was called back in to take the Res
CC… There you go, it’s a SISTER ACT !!
Then it was time for the boys,
first up was Jamie (Silkridge Jingle My Bells) getting a lovely 1st place in
Junior Dog.
In Limit Dog Selwyn (Silkridge Black Caviar) won 1st place and in the
challenge he was awarded the Reserve CC by Fiona Finch.
Last but not least Joey (CH Silkridge Just Joey) got a 3rd in a strong Open
Dog class.
On referee decision the Best of breed was given to the Dog CC,
congratulations to the Short family and Jim Fletcher.
On the SKC All Breed Champ Show the dog judge was Richard Bott and the bitch
judge was Rachel Smith.
This show the dogs were judged first….
Jamie (Silkridge Jingle My Bells) got yet another splendid 1st place in
Junior Dog.
and Lev ( Emandoria Dazzling Diplomat for Crème Anglaise) was awarded a nice
3rd place in a very strong Open Dog class.
Then the girls were up and
Emily, in first, took Roxy (Crème Anglaise’s Too Hot To Handle for Mazargo)
again to a marvellous 1st place in Post Graduate Bitch,
Lia (Silkridge Black Dahlia), got a 2nd place in Mid Limit Bitch this time.
But in Open Bitch the star of the 2nd show was
Aylin (Crème Anglaise’s Entourage on Tour), taking a 1st spot in Open,
followed by her 1st full CC, (after her 3 previously earned reserve CC’s)
and she topped it off with the BOB in joint decision of the two judges.
In the main ring Aylin did what she does best… FLY!!! She is just such a joy
to show in a big ring. The Hound Group judge, Mr. Wendell Moore noticed her
and awarded her with Group #2 .
I know I will do some flying of my
own… all the way back to Holland…
I would say, this felt a little bit
like… The Netherlands …. DOUZE POINTS !!!, but unfortunately we are not at
Eurovision this year….
Wholehartedly many many thanks to all 4 breed
judges and the group judge for thinking so highly of all our dogs we gladly
presented to you and a big congratulations to everyone in the cards today.
Roxy is owned by Emily Blake, Jamie is owned by Jan Doherty and Aylin is
co-owned with Rikie Peters-van Beersum
On paper, Colette, Roger, Jan
Willen and Kris own all the other dogs mentioned in various constructions,
but we love them all the same!!

AYLIN WINS THE GROUP
AT CACIB RIJNLAND - DIAMONDS ARE 4-EVER SHOW
On
this truly gorgeous sunny Sunday in March it was time for the 3rd All Breed
CACIB Show of 2026 in the Netherlands. Normally I hate having to spend a day
like this indoors but I must admit the results of today have definitely
sweetened the deal....
We had only entered two for today, brother and
sister, Cheeky and Aylin and they both did us proud.

Anglaise’s Entourage on Tour – Open Bitch – 1EX, CAC, CACIB, Best Bitch &
BOB.
In the afternoon it was time for the main ring and Aylin
literally flew over the carpet, she is a dream to show (off) in the main
ring and she absolutely loves it. The judge thought the same and awarded her
Group #1
We
thank our Breed and Group Judge of today, sighthound specialist Andre van
den Broek

Yesterday … Puppies !!! Today…. Dogshow time !!!
The second day of
the CACIB shows in Groningen and unlike yesterday we were able to make it today…
Very glad that we managed to do so as here are our results….
CHEEKY
– CA Cheeky Entourage 1EX in Open Dog, Best dog with CAC & CACIB and BOS.
FABIENNE
– Emandoria Fabienne 1EX in Junior Bitch, Junior CAC and Junior CACIB, Res Best
Bitch, Junior BOB and for Junior BIS she was Junior Select for group 10.
AYLIN
– CA Entourage On Tour 1EX in Open Bitch, Best Bitch with CAC & CACIB and BOB.
Aylin took a wonderful Group #2 to finish the day on a high and qualifying her
for the Dutch Dog of the Year show.
